PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LIMBAH POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE TERHADAP CAMPURAN ASPAL CONCRETE BINDER COURSE

Abstrak Penggunaan plastik sebagai kemasan makanan dan minuman hingga saat ini belum tergantikan, dampaknya keberadaan limbah semakin meningkat. Unsur penyusun utama adalah karbon hydrogen hal identik dengan unsur dari aspal. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara pengimpor aspal, 50% kebutuhan aspal dalam negeri dipenuhi mengimpor luar negeri. Salah solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi impor penggunaan campuran beton Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh jenis PET pada AC-BC. Limbah dibuat bentuk serat ditambahkan komposisi 0.3% 0.6% dibanding tanpa PET. Penambahan menunjukkan bahwa stabilitas aspala meningkat bertambahnya persentase nilai flow menjadi lebih kecil mengindikasikan cenderung kaku, MQ juga besar.
